Job Description

Zerihun Associates is an international development consultancy and research firm specializing in impact evaluations.

The firm's major intervention areas include process evaluation, cost-effectiveness analysis, household and enterprise survey data collection, electronic survey designs, data quality management, and data analysis and reporting.

Zerihun Associates is looking for qualitative researchers to be included in the company roaster.

So that, qualified individuals will work with the company when needed.

The specific responsibilities include:

Conduct FGD, KII, IDI in a different language ( Tigrign, Amharic, Oromifa, Afar, and Somalia)

Trabscirbe the collected data

Translate the document in English

Ensure that translations are true to the original meaning

Deliver the translated documents in the given time period

Job Requirements

BA or above in Social Science;

Demonstrated experience in qualitative data collection;

Knowledge and experience of qualitative data collection methods (E.g., focus group discussions, key informant interview…);

Skills and Personality Characteristics;

Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills

Proficiency in English and Amharic and other local languages as a local language

Proficiency in using computer soft wares and databases;

Interpersonal skills, including the ability to build relationships with colleagues (working as a team);

Ability to follow deadlines, accuracy, and attention to detail.
