Zerihun Associates is an international development consultancy and research firm specializing in impact evaluations. The firm's major interventions areas include process evaluation, cost-effectiveness analysis, household and enterprise survey data collection, electronic survey designs, data quality management, and data analysis and reporting.

Zerihun Associates is looking for highly motivated, qualified, and capable professionals to fill the post of Survey Enumerators for its data collection projects to be conducted in the next three months.

The Survey Enumerator will be responsible for collect household and demographic information by going through assigned areas. Survey Enumerators must appropriately document and report the information as it is.

The Survey Enumerator will ensure that appropriate, accurate, quality data is collected for assigned Survey Projects through the effective implementation of data collection processes as directed by the Core Survey Team.

The candidate must have experience in data collection and listing; emotional maturity; control of anger; empathetic attitude; stable personality; and physical stamina.

The primary duties and responsibilities include:

Conduct household interviews on smartphones;

Conduct listing of an enumeration area on smartphones;

Manage household selection based on a set of procedures and methodologies;

Ensure completes and accuracy of collected household data;

Submit collected household data at the end of working date to the supervisor;

Rectify any error that might have occurred during data collection;

Report challenges encountered (if any) to supervisor on a regular basis; and

Work with the team supervisor closely.

Job Requirements

Qualification:

Minimum of BA degree from a Ministry of Education recognized University or Collage.

The ability to use English & Amharic language efficiently is highly required.

Affan Oromo, Tigrigna, Somali and other languages are required to work in the respective regions.

Experience:

Must have two or more years of data collection experience (Knowledge of CAPI, notably Survey Solutions, is an advantage).
