We are looking for an analytical and strategic social media specialist to manage content, all social platforms as well as our blog.

Key Performance Areas and Responsibilities:

  • Managing all social media channels in line with the commercial plan and social content road map.
  • Creating and curating exciting and relevant content that increases brand awareness and positions Zando as a fashion and Lifestyle destination.
  • Create and manage the Zando communities to grow followers and engagement.
  • Create content relevant to content pillars.
  • Create content relevant to identified persona’s.
  • Developing strategic initiatives in order to improve the performance of channel specific KPI’s.
  • Developing strategies and execute initiatives in order to grow the audience of our social media channels and blog.
  • Attending relevant events to promote the Zando brand.
  • Reporting using service providers; Google Analytics and internal reports in order to get a better understanding of the performance of campaigns and develop an understanding of who our user base is.
  • Maintain a social content calendar that aligns with
    commercial and content strategies
    Compiling weekly reports on social media KPIs.

  • Ability to think strategically and commercially.

  • Solid copy writing skills.

  • Knowledge of strategic social media practices.
  • Ability to take the lead and be resourceful in finding content opportunities.

    Education and Experience:
  • Grade 12 (Senior Certificate).
  • Relevant tertiary education advantageous.
  • 3+ year’s social media management experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to independently lead social media campaigns on a national level is preferred.
  • A proven ability to drive direction and alignment with large cross-functional teams.
  • Experience within a fashion environment advantageous.
  • Experience within an e-commerce and or retail environment is advantageous.
  • Copy writing experience advantageous.
  • A valid Green South African ID required.
