Job PurposeThe Creative Manager will be responsible for overseeing all creative products produced by ZAMCOM.
He or she will oversee the entire creative team, including copywriters, directors, graphic designers, cinematographers and commercial producers. .
Duties & Responsibilities
The duties and responsibilities of a ZAMCOM Creative Manager include the following, among others;
• Manage the relationship between clients and ZAMCOM.
• Lead the creative process from concept to completion
• Lead the process of the establishment and management of the ZAMCOM Radio
• Assign creative projects to individual team members.
• Ensure all creative works are on track to meet set deadlines.
• Responsible for the overall quality of work produced by the Creative department.
• Monitor, review and appraises performance of all the subordinates in the Department.
• Involved in hiring and training of creative staff
Job Skills and Requirements
• Leadership: Able to lead and inspire a team of people who are creative to achieve desired results.
• Creativity: Creative directors will invent new ideas for branding, advertising campaigns and
marketing messages. They need to understand design and smart copy, and recognize fresh approaches to advertising.
• Analytical Skills: Advertising and marketing is ever-evolving, and good creative directors are able to analyze trends, look at new data and keep with the times.
• Decision-Making Skills: Advertising campaigns have timelines, and the creative Manager will need to make decisions on final copy, final art, finished commercials programmes and spot adverts.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, as well as presentation skills.
Qualifications
This position requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Mass communications with minimum of at least three (3) years’ experience in a reputable organization.
Job Education Requirements
Must have a minimum of Degree in Mass Communications
