About Us

Yo-Waste: is building zero-waste communities through technology, one city at a time. We offer waste collection and recycling services to homes and commercial clients through our location-based mobile app.

Basic Requirements

A minimum of a High school diploma or equivalent.

Experience in sales or a related field. Experience in waste management or environmental services may be preferred.

Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.

Excellent customer service skills in order to build and maintain relationships with customers

Basic math and computer skills. Competency in Microsoft applications including Word and Excel.

Experience using smartphones for a variety of tasks.

Basic understanding of the waste management industry and the services offered by the company

Key Responsibilities

Door to-door marketing

Signing up new clients.

Negotiating contracts with prospective clients.

Meeting or exceeding sales goals/targets.

Generating leads.

Understanding and promoting company programs within the community.

Visiting clients and potential clients to evaluate needs and promote our products and services.

Attending trade shows and conferences: You may be required to attend trade shows and conferences to represent Yo-Waste and promote its services to potential customers.

N.B: For Entebbe Branch, candidates are required to be residents of Entebbe.
