Youth Challenge International Business Development Consultant Jobs in Kenya; To support this growth, YCI is seeking a Business Development Consultant/s to support some of the organization’s strategic positioning, regional expansion, and operational scaling.

This consultancy will include focus areas including:

Supporting a strategic roadmap for YCI’s growth, outlining operational, programmatic, and future partnership models;

Identifying and responding to funding opportunities, including donor engagement, funding partnership development, proposal development, and innovative financing;

Supporting programs and operations during start-up;

Strengthening regional partnerships by engaging key stakeholders, including government agencies, private sector, NGOs, and regional networks;

Providing regulatory and operational guidance for YCI’s legal setup and governance structure in Kenya and across the region.

The ideal candidate/s should possess:

Proven experience in business development, market research, and program design, and proposal development specifically in East Africa;

A strong understanding of the youth economic ecosystems, including employment, entrepreneurship, and enterprise development in Kenya and surrounding economies;

Experience with NGO placement and operational setup, including legal and regulatory compliance;

Strong knowledge of donor priorities, funding mechanisms, and regional economic trends;

Demonstrated success in securing funding from institutional donors, private sector partners, and impact investors;

Exceptional analytical, strategic thinking, and stakeholder engagement skills.
