A leading company in cosmetics is seeking to recruit experienced, results oriented, aggressive, friendly personnel with leadership skills and experience in makeup application to fill the position of Shop Manager- Beauty Products.
Location: Nairobi Type: Permanent
Salary: KES. 27,000 – 30,000 plus commissions on hitting the targets
Job PurposeMaintaining and increasing sales of company’s products.
Training and development of Beauty Consultants and Sales Executives on weekly basis
To be in charge of leadership the team at the shop/kiosks including discipline cases
In charge of customer service at the shop
To inspire and couch Beauty Consultants to deliver exceptional service.
To lead the team to hit sales
In charge of reconciling the shop accounts
To identify and explore opportunities to grow sales, ensure optimum stock range and availability, whilst maintaining strict cost and stock control.
Responsibilities
Naturally meet or exceed targets set for the shop
Ensure standards of cleanliness within the shop
Understanding ALL the products in details and be passionate about delivering
Report all damages/repairs to the Operations Manager as soon as possible
Ensure that all testers within the shop are continuously in stock and maintained in compliance with the hygiene standards.
Ensure stock is kept full at all times within the shop
Leading, motivating and coaching the team and maintaining the discipline
Making the shop/kiosk a friendly place to shop and ensure all guests at the shop are received in a friendly, prompt and courteous service.
Provide timely reports to management including calendar activities, sales calls, sales reports, shop accounting etc.
Building strong client relationships and providing superior customer service at the shops
Product demonstration and promoting the sales of cosmetics.
Implement and support new promotions and product launches
Inform guests of current promotions, events, and services within the shop
Responsible for presenting an image at all times that reflects the knowledge of cosmetic lines sold by the company
Routinely do makeup applications, skincare analysis, and product demonstrations to the clients
Training Beauty Consultants on makeup application
Performance Indicators
Meeting overall sales target
Overall Average Pieces of Products Per Customer(APPPC) at the kiosk (at least 2.5 per client)
Kiosk customer details properly recorded (number and email)
Reconciliation of kiosk sales (Sending money in time (cash), Signed receipts by customers (for PDQ machine),Doing products returns appropriately and Petty Cash/float Management
Customer satisfaction level
Number of trainings to Beauty Consultants
Loss calculation for the kiosk and damaged products
Measures put in place to prevent loss of products
100% clock in and clock out (Your team)
Timely appraisal for your team
Kiosk cleanliness
Job Qualifications
MUST have experience in cosmetics retail and/or product specialist/sales experience in retail
MUST use make ups on daily basis
Excellent customer service skills and committed to providing superior service
Committed to building relationships with customers
Energetic and dependable, motivated and results driven
Must be willing to work a flexible schedule based on business needs which include evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Worked with or have genuine interest in beauty products
Recent experience of managing in a customer facing environment
Recent experience of being accountable for a team, stock and procedures
An understanding or experience of working towards targets
A great trainer
Able to build relationships and relates well to all kinds of people.
Demonstrates significant competency in sales of FMCG.

A leading company in cosmetics is seeking to recruit an aggressive,
mature suitable personnel to fill the position of Operations Manager/Coordinator preferably someone who have supervised merchandisers before and have worked with Supermarkets.
Location: Nairobi
Type: Full Time and permanent
Salary: KES. 50,000 – KES. 60,000 plus commissions on all retail sales
Accountabilities
Ensure that kiosks, wall units and stands are kept up to standards.
Ensure timely supply of stocks to kiosks/shops, supermarkets, pharmacies and beauty shops
In charge of standards for the kiosk, stands and wall units
Ensure quality of repairs done at kiosks, wall units and stands (lights, wood work, ETR machine, computers, printers etc.) by liaising carpenters, electrician, IT etc
In charge of loss calculations and management/control at our point of sales and consignment
Prepare weekly reports of lost products at all locations and sending the same report to Managing Director on weekly and monthly basis.
Supplying data about sales from Enterprise Resource Program ( ERP) together with analysis extracted from ERP to be used in order to improve the operations , or sales.
Prepare orders based on the movement of the product on monthly basis in order to keep the stocks at all points of sales and warehouse at optimum level (no excess, no out of stock)
Informing the sales departments about the situation of stock, products that would expire in the following months or year
Monitoring slow moving items and come up with a strategy together with Marketing Executive to reduce the slow-moving stock or stock which are almost expiring
In charge of merchandisers, delivery team, front office and store personnel through training, leading, motivating, coaching the team and maintaining the discipline
Oversees the daily operations of operations department and its various components
Leading in stock taking
Preparation of monthly reports on kiosks performance, including condition of kiosks, quality of customer service, loss calculation, number of machine downtime
Together with Stores Manager, ensure maintenance of minimum stock levels and advise MD on time to avoid stock outs.

100% Kiosk repairs including all lights and kiosks quality assurance (quality repairs)
100% Wall units repairs including lights and quality assurance (Quality Repair)
Quality repairs of all nail polish stands
Loss calculation for all point of sales
Efficiency of merchandisers
Efficiency of delivery guys
Efficiency of stores personnel
Duration/time taken to repair machines at the kiosks (printer, ETR, computer, visa machine)
100% update of OneNote
Operations checklists sent on time (weekly basis and by 9 am)
Time taken to resolve operations issues
Kiosks improvements
Job Qualifications
A degree in business related field with 2 years’ experience in FMCG with market knowledge
Previous experience in managing merchandisers
Well-developed negotiation skills
A self-starter with a tenacious and autonomous attitude towards developing new business and managing targets
Good analytical and leadership skills, a leader who knows how to motivate and control a team
Strong communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
Experience in beauty industry will be a plus.
Computer Skills: Word, excel, and power-point
An interest, enthusiasm and passion for beauty products
