Responsibilities
As, Project Manager - Education, South Sudan** you will provide leadership in planning, design, implementation and coordination of the Education Program in Baliet County in order to ensure effective program implementation in line with WV South Sudan National Strategy and policies.
You will also coordinate with the Education Cluster and County Education Department ensure coordination and integration of the activities within the cluster and County plans.
Requirements:
The minimum educational level required is a Bachelor’s degree in Education, Rural/Community Development or Social Sciences; a Master’s degree is preferred.
Experience adhering to the Red Cross and Red Crescent Code of Conduct, HAP-I Standard, ECB Good Enough
Guide, Sphere Standards (Humanitarian Charter and Participation Standard, INEE Standards and Sphere Minimum Standards), donor requirements and WV Humanitarian Accountability Framework.
Strong Experience in managing an emergency education project in previous work place.
At least 4-5 years of experience in program management and administration, financial management, award cooperative agreement compliance, sub award management, and tracking project performance and costs.
Excellent English Language skills (written and spoken).
Work environment: Field-based position, with physical hardship conditions and limited amenities.
Travel: 40% domestic/international travels is required.
