Provide technical support to staff, ALP teachers and ECD caregivers on skills development related program interventions
Support ALP teachers to generate working documents to facilitate project implementation
Facilitate ongoing networks and coordination between the ALP centres, existing schools, community, education working group and the district education office.
Ensure quality in rolling out of Accelerated learning program within the existing child friendly spaces
Ensure quality rollout of the multipurpose approach of the implementation of the child friendly spaces, ALP and ECD.
Track and manage activity budgets to ensure timely and cost effective project implementation.
Produce timely, accurate, compliant and quality reports
Participant in project management meetings, district education engagements and working group meetings within the respective settlements.
Actively participate in district education Advocacy initiatives
Ensure cross cutting themes are mainstreamed in education project.
Identify capacity gaps for teachers, ECD caregiver and work with the Child protection Coordinator and project Manager to ensure needs are met
Participate and also provide guidance to the development of project designs, concepts and fundable proposals for children and youth development programs
Qualifications
Degree in Education
3 years or more experience of relief work relating to Education in emergencies and at least 1 year in in implementing accelerated learning programing.
Self-motivated with excellent management and leadership skills
Experience in Accelerated Learning Program is a must

Responsibilities
Motivate and ensure teamwork among case workers, CFS and ECD animators for greater ministry impact, in the community.
Support community based child protection and education systems, children groups and stake holders in advocating for child protection, participation, and psychosocial care within the CFSs/ECDs.
Facilitate the integration of social cohesion activities with within the refugee settlements and host communities.
Handle visitors including donors, support office and national office staff, stakeholders, in line with the child protection policy and behavioral protocol.
Work with children, foster families and communities to design and deliver support for children in their communities and at the child friendly spaces according to the agreed plan of actions.
Provide information for projects design, implementation, monitoring and reporting
Mobilize community meetings with children and key stakeholders at all implementation levels
Build the capacity of case workers, CFS/ECD caregivers and animators
Facilitate case management, and data collection in line with the required and approved standards at the CFS/ECD centres
Collect and compile statistical data and information regarding caregivers, community members and children participation in activities at the CFSs/ECD centres and children clubs.
Supervise CFS/ECD implementation as per the minimum children in emergencies protection standards.
Qualifications
Should have a bachelor’s degree in social sciences, education, community psychology, business administration or any equivalent.
A one years’ experience in working with refugees, peace building, basic education
and nutrition
Must be ready to work in a multi-cultural environment
Knowledge of implementation on child friendly spaces, peace building, education in emergencies and psychosocial care
Appropriate communication skill and approachable
Must have no history of violation of child protection in emergencies

The Child Protection Facilitator will provide grassroots project implementation, monitoring and documentation in the Child Friendly Spaces, Early Childhood Development Centres and the participation, psychosocial and peace building Project guided by WV Uganda Policies.
World Vision NGO Child Protection Facilitator - West Nile Vacancies in Uganda
Responsibilities
Motivate and ensure teamwork among Child Protection assistants and Volunteers for greater ministry impact, in the community
Work in liaison with and provide the necessary advice and support to stakeholders in the participation, psychosocial and peace building project, as well as the CFS and ECD programmes in all matters pertaining to effective management and implementation
Assist the Response Manager to handle visitors including donors, support offices and national office staff
Take full responsibility in the implementation of CFSs, ECDs and participation, psychosocial and peace building project in Adjumani operations according to the agreed plan of action
Actively coordinate project Design, implementation, monitoring and reporting
Coordinate with all agencies working in child protection and the Office of the Prime Minster in the camp to ensure compliance to inter agency and World Vision International standards for implementing child protection and Education in emergencies (CiE) as well as peace building activities
Organize meetings with key stakeholders in Adjumani to influence policies, planning and practice in line with the outcomes of the advocacy events
Implement and monitor project activities towards realization of project outputs in a timely and effective manner.
Qualifications
The applicants should hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Peace-Building, Sociology, International Relations, Conflict studies or other related field.
A minimum of three or more years’ field experience working with Communities in Peace-Building and/or child protection programming and program management in an NGO context.
Past exposure and experience with integration / mainstreaming of peacebuilding and conflict-sensitivity across other programmes and projects is a plus.
Past experience in working with communities. Very strong communication skills
Working knowledge of humanitarian industry including sphere standards, NGO code of conduct and humanitarian charter
Excellent analytical, documentation, problem solving, interpersonal and negotiation skills
Possess the ability to work with different partners, local authorities, local organizations and NGOs, to develop and maintain positive relationships.
Cross-cultural sensitivity, flexible worldview, emotional maturity and physical stamina.
Ability to maintain performance expectations in diverse cultural contexts, psychologically stressful environments and physical hardship conditions with limited resources
Ability to cope and deal with stress and work under stressful work conditions is a requirement
