Well informed on latest trends in grants sector. Deeper understanding in how proposal development and monitoring systems can be used for marketing purposes.
Leadership capabilities that includes coaching staff to high level of performance and engaging in effective cross cultural and cross functional working to achieve shared goals and effective indirect line management.
25% domestic travel and international whenever required.
Fluency in English and additional language preferred.

Job Description
The role will be responsible for ensuring support of, alignment and effective collaboration with global strategic direction and initiatives for the Child Sponsorship Marketing Director. Community Development Marketing Strategy Director, Fragile Strategy Director and Digital Director.
Responsibilities
Change leadership and influence at a senior level to deliver a renewed global mass channel strategy and plan, wining hearts and minds across a wide variety of senior stakeholders:
Lead the optimising of marketing and sales channels through partnership-wide performance management, identification and scaling of channel best practices:

Qualifications
Exceptional relationship and influencing skills.
Exceptional intellectual ability - a clear strategic marketing thinker.
Significant experience in leading change in a complex environment.
10-15 years in marketing, fundraising or related role, including 5-7 years at a senior management level with demonstrable success in achieving growth with experience in channel sales/fundraising and experience in partnership development (e.g. developing mutually value-added partnerships). Experience in developing partnerships with faith-based organizations (churches) a plus.
Ideally minimum 5 years of experience leading a marketing function within one of the largest World Vision Support offices and / or Minimum 7 years of experience leading a marketing function within a global organization.
Master’s degree or equivalent in strategy or marketing.
The post-holder must have an active Christian faith.
Strong marketing and strategy skills with working knowledge of change management principles.
Exceptional interpersonal skills and able to win the confidence of a broad range of different stakeholders including leaders from a variety of cultural and professional backgrounds.

World Vision NGO Global Grant Accountant – HIWA Project Vacancies in Uganda
Job Description
To provide overall technical support to the grant in accordance with World Vision accounting policies and procedures and the Acceptable International Financial Accounting standards and liaise with the Senior Finance Officer - Grants on all financial matters relating to the project.
Responsibilities
Promote
financial accountability and reporting
Strategic financial planning and management
Build and maintain good networks / relationships with Project team, other divisions, local partners etc. Good working relationships with partners/vendors/staff (TEECAP)
Partnership initiatives & policies implemented throughout the year; Accounts Payable Module, GEMs/Concur, Mobile Money operationalized and working well,
Participate regularly in project meetings as and when required.
Regular support to the finance team throughout the FY whenever requested
Qualifications
A University degree with a major in Accounting and part qualification in A.C.C.A, CPA or CIMA or equivalent.
A minimum of three to Five years’ post qualification experience, preferably with USAID funded program
Extensive Computer knowledge in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Sun systems accounting is required.
Must have proven knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and Internal Control Procedures.
Must Communicate clearly and concisely both in writing and orally.
Must have good interpersonal skills.

IT Business Engagement – Working closely with clients to understand project strategies, objectives, and priorities.
IT Service Management – Staying side-by-side through the twists and turns of demand management, solution design, and service delivery.
IT Infrastructure - Delivering technology architecture for the global World Vision Organisation.
Information Security - Taking a holistic approach to World Vision’s information security.
Information Solutions - Designing the ideal tools for our customers that improve the way they do their work.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or other related field. Or equivalent work experience.
Relevant industry certifications.
7-10 years’ experience leading IT teams within a global or regional focused organisation.
Demonstrated experience working with and managing virtual teams.
Requires leadership, business knowledge, communication and negotiation skills and experience/in-depth knowledge of relevant IT discipline involving implementation and support across multiple countries.
Whilst other languages may be an advantage, ability to communicate in English both verbally and in writing is required.
Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally as required.
