Supervise DFAT FSL activities at state level and technical support in C/FFA projects under the BRACE II and WFP programme in North Bahr Ghazal State. To represent WV SS at state level in coordination meetings as well as stakeholder engagements.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:As the Programme Manager, provides administrative management for the implementation of all World Vision South Sudan Programs in the assigned state in accordance with the overall World Vision South Sudan country policies, procedures and donor guidelines. Coordinate all operational activities for various sectors in the state as well as with other support department.
Responsible for the administration of the region in liaison with Finance & Support Services for smooth running of projects in the State.
Ensuring that vehicles & equipment as well as supplies for all the projects for timely and effective programme implementation.
Support the supply-chain/ logistic officer to deliver appropriate services to the field teams for timely delivery of services to the community.
Help maintain accountability to assets according to World Vision procurement and financial control standards in the region.
Manage public relations for WVSS within the operational area, including handling visitors and media personnel – their upkeep , lining up appointments and providing orientation to projects.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
University degree or qualification in Agriculture engineering, food security or other related field.
3-5 years proven experience in emergency programmes or social development with at least 2 years of that experience in and F/CFA programming a must.
Must have the skills in design of simple structures and assets.
Strong project management background is required.
Strong coordination skills and working with/in consortiums an added advantage.
Experience in working with clusters and working groups/community of practice an added advantage.
Strong experience in managing staff, partners and facilitating capacity building.
Ability to maintain performance expectations in psychologically stressful environments and physical hardship conditions with limited resources.
Able to use a computer, with word-processing and spreadsheets, (e.g. Microsoft Office).

Engage with influential external stakeholders on the key issues affecting children as identified in Our Promise 2030.
Ensure that all senior leaders have appropriate external engagement plans for themselves and their teams.

Lead ‘It takes a World’ & demonstrates global campaign strategy momentum and impact: Continue to build internal support, momentum of and cross partnership ownership of the campaign.
Continue to develop external support for and impact of the campaign through building broad coalitions with all potential partners that can contribute to ending violence against children.
Ensure the campaign is mostly with and by children and not only for children.
Support the Global Partnership to end violence.
Requirements:
Master’s Degree in international studies or relevant field;
A minimum of
10 years leadership and operational experience in international relief and development activities; at least five (5) years direct Advocacy/External Engagement experience in a senior advocacy role or as a national director with a strong focus on External Engagement;
Strong understanding of and experience in international development and key current policy debates;
Strong knowledge of the child rights agenda and Agenda 2030 for Sustainable Development;
Demonstrated track record at global level of external influence and of establishing and leading strategic partnerships;
Very strong organizational leadership that enables post holder to have a “whole of partnership” view and not just a narrow sectoral view;
Excellent communications skills, including as a representative of World Vision in external forums and as a media spokesperson;
Successful track record of functioning effectively at senior levels across large and complex multinational organizations (C-suite level);

World Vision International NGO Hospital Coordinator - Kuajok Hospital Jobs in South Sudan

Key Responsibilities
Administratively manage the HPF supported program activities at Kuajok State Hospital on behalf of World Vision South Sudan.
Work with the key hospital staff in the day to day planning and management of Kuajok State Hospital activities.
Maintain high cordial and professional working relationship with fellow hospital staff, state ministry of health and other actors in the state.
Advise and (administrative) support the senior nursing officer, the hospital director general and other senior staff in their day- to- day activities in order to achieve all the project deliverables.
Participate in the Senior Health Management Team (HMT) meetings at the hospital as and when necessary.
Work with the hospital director general and the senior nursing officer to identify hospital staffing gaps, develop terms of reference and support the state to recruit staff for the hospital and lobby for additional staff with the State Ministry of Health; Work with the Hospital Management Technical Advisor to prepare and submit weekly, monthly, quarterly reports to the Health Program Manager.
Work with the hospital director general and the senior nursing officer to ensure health services are with strict observation of MOH/ WHO standards and ensure that all universal precaution / infection prevention measures are in place.
Ensure that health activities are provided in a clean environment.
Requirements
At least 7 years of work experience in a busy secondary or tertiary level hospital as hospital administrator or Principal nursing officer.
Bachelor Degree in nursing or Environmental health sciences or Health care management.
Master's degree in Business Administration, or Msc in Health Management or Master’s in Public Health will be an added advantage.
A good understanding and experience of working with County Health Officials, State Ministry Officials, Donors and UN agencies and the health system in South Sudan.
Previous experience of working in South Sudan and ability to work in areas of limited resources.
Experience in project management and monitoring.
Experience in pharmaceutical management.
