Major Responsibilities

  • Drive the vehicle as per approved routes.

  • Only authorized trips are travelled.

  • Ensure safety of passengers using the vehicle

  • Passengers are always reminded on safety.

  • Ensure vehicle functionality by observing key dates for services as well as report any disorder timely.

  • Vehicle is maintained /serviced timely.

  • Ensure that the vehicle is always clean.

  • Vehicle’s cleanliness is satisfactory.

  • Compile periodical reports and submit timely.

  • Quality reports compiled and submitted.

  • Adhere to organization and program road safety rules.

  • Road safety rules are adhered to.

  • Ensure proper documentation of key vehicle documents.

  • Key vehicle documents are dully signed.

    Knowledge/ Qualifications for the Role

    Required Professional Experience

  • Two-years’ experience in driving light vehicles /passengers' vehicles.

  • Experience in mechanical is an added advantage.

    Required Education, training, license, registration, and certification

  • Valid class C (C1, C2, C3) driving license.

  • Form Four with NIT Advanced Driving Certificate or VETA Advanced Driving Certificate
