Job DescriptionPosition location to be determined by home country of successful candidate within the East Africa Region where WVI is registered to operate.
Purpose of Positions:The M&E officer position in the Empowered Worldview project will be responsible for ensuring project designs, quality and reporting is up to date. In addition the position will be responsible for all aspects of knowledge management for the project and ensure that success stories, reports, and evaluations are undertaken as part of evidence and learning to inform quality programming.
He/she will work with work with all National office EWV focal persons/THRIVE managers to identity, collect and share impact stories with the Support Offices to enhance further marketing
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure project designs are updated on time
Develop systems, processes, guidelines and tools for EWV implementation
Coordinate project reporting on quarterly, bi-annually and annually for stakeholders.
Compile, prepare and share impact stories with all stakeholders on quarterly basis as need arises
Collect, document and support all EWV project publications
Design and circulate quarterly EWV e-newsletter to stakeholders.
Engage THRIVE Managers and EWV focal persons to ensure impact stories and implementation schedules are on track
Other Competencies/Attributes:
Spiritual maturity; clear articulation of personal faith in Christ about how their faith informs their life and work.
Able to stand above denominational diversities.
DME experience
Evidence building experience/Knowledge and experience in knowledge management
At least three years of development communication experience
Ability to work in a cross-cultural environment
Must be computer literate
A good team player
Good communication and good inter-personal skills
Qualifications: Education/Knowledge/Technical Skills and Experience
The following may be acquired through a combination of formal or self-education, prior experience or on-the-job training:
Educational level required: Degree in social development or related field desired
Experience: At least 2-3 years of experience in M&E and communication

World Vision International Empowered World View Project Manager, Jobs in Tanzania
Job Description
*Position location to be determined by home country of successful candidate within the East Africa Region where WVI is registered to operate.
Purpose of Positions:
The purpose of this position is to effectively manage the Empowered World View (EWV) Africa scale up project and ensure that the project outcomes are realized within the stipulated time.
The project manager is also a lead trainer of the new approach and will assume responsibility for ensuring that the project activities are integrated and mainstreamed within World Vision operations.
Primarily the position will ensure capacity on the approach is built across the targeted offices. In addition it will ensure that the lesson are being documented, communicated and shared across the Partnership to inform better
programming.
Key Responsibilities:
EWV Lead Trainer/Facilitator:
Identify and train key ToTs and facilitators in each targeted office.
Coach and mentor trainees.
Follow up to ensure each NO has a lead Trainer/Facilitator.
Be the point person on prayer updates of the Region to the Office of Prayer ministry.
Develop and/or improve EWV training tools.
Coordinate a regional team of Trainers.
Other Responsibilities:
Participate in other organizational meetings as required.
Any other duties as may be assigned by the Regional Faith & Development Director.
Knowledge skill and Abilities:
Degree in related field desired (A Master’s degree will be an added advantage).
At least 3 years of experience in development field.
Knowledge and experience with WV operations.
At least three years of programme management experience.
Ability to work in a cross-cultural environment.

Job Description
Purpose of the position:
To provide overall strategic leadership and coordination in the development and implementation of Christian Commitments strategies that promote WV’s Christ centered, Child-focused and community identity to both staff and partners.
To work with the Senior Management of WVT in the development and implementation of policies and programmes that result in effective Christian Commitments in all WVT programme.
Observe mission and core values of World Vision and demonstrate a quality of spiritual life that is an example to others.
To ensure EWV for mindset transformation embedded in all WVT TAs and TPs.
Major Responsibilities:
Strategic Engagement
Work with other stakeholders to develop appropriate and contextualized Faith and Development strategy and ensure its integration and implementation at all level
Contribute to the development of NO strategy (and others) to ensure effective integration of Faith and Development into NO strategy.
Collaborate with P&C and senior management in establishing staff recruitment standards to ensure the spiritual commitment of prospective staff; assist in their orientation; and support the incorporation of CC engagement in annual performance appraisals.
Develop concept papers and proposals for Christian Commitments funding.
Work with senior leadership to develop and/or review CC related policies to ensure adherence to those policies.
Qualifications: Education/Knowledge/Technical Skills and Experience
The following may be acquired through a combination of formal or self-education, prior experience or on-the-job training:
Minimum Qualification required: Masters in Social Sciences/Theology
Experience: 3 years.
Technical Skills & Abilities:
Computer skills.
Demonstrated ability in supervision.
Working knowledge of proposal writing.
Good planning and organizational skills.
Ability to maintain effective working relationships with all levels of staff and donors.
Good understanding of and respect for diverse churches and Christian organizations.
