Purpose of the Position: To provide timely and appropriate support to the Area Programme in ensuring accurate and timely processing of correspondence, special mailings, Gift Notes, proper filing of documents and monitoring of child well-being outcomes and participation for all Registered Children.
To maintain an information and knowledge management system that supports the Area Programme team and Volunteers to maximize their contribution towards child wellbeing, and provides timely information for effective supporter engagement and the attainment of the Child Well-being Outcomes.
Major Responsibilities:
Ensure accuracy, consistency, validity and timeliness of data being entered on the mobile phone and Analyze data trends
Ensure processing of all sponsor mailing to and from children on time using the recommended business process as well as Review, correct and upload Sponsorship 2.0 products (Child and community Rich media Content)
Ensure the monitoring and sharing of participation data to various stakeholders at Area Programme level
Ensure Sponsorship standards are adhered to and follow up of child wellbeing gaps in the field with Community Development Workers/Volunteers through case management for Children
Monitor the security and risk management with regard to child information and Sponsorship system
Maintain security of Sponsorship data, system resources and sponsor addresses
Maintenance of Knowledge Management system and Data Storage
Maintain systems and processes for an effective and integrated approach to capturing and sharing the programme’s knowledge
Identifying, Capturing and Disseminating Knowledge
Build the technical capacity of
Volunteers in effective capture, documentation and communication, to promote community based sharing of practices ·
Work with the Volunteers to capture and document lessons, good practices, and innovations and ensure that these are shared with the Area Programme team to improve programming ·
Monitoring and Validation of Sponsorship and Other data sources
Follow up all correspondences in the field through engagement with Community Development Workers, volunteers and children and support the collection of data with implementing Development Facilitators and partners
Qualifications: Education/Knowledge/Technical Skills and Experience:
Grade 12 with credit in English and any five subjects.
Diploma in, Social Work, Business Admin, Community Development or any other relevant field
Ability to use Microsoft Office packages
At least 1-year work experience in Horizon system
Adaptive and willing to work outside working hours
Must have good interpersonal relations.
Must have basic understanding of World Vision mission, vision and core values.
