Purpose of Position:The Senior Advisor for Child Sponsorship Marketing
Asia Region heads up the strategic direction of child sponsorship marketing within World Vision’s Asia Region support offices, focused on stabilizing fundraising income (currently at $333m annually) and returning it to growth.
The role will have regional leadership for and representation of a global strategy initiative to revitalize child sponsorship marketing to become industry best in class, ensuring stability and future growth of our field ministry to bring life in all it’s fullness to millions of the world’s most vulnerable children.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead a best in class regional marketing discipline through developing relationships with and competency of Asia regional fundraising offices (support offices).
Be a trusted partner and source of truth on regional market knowledge – including macro trends, consumer needs and trends, and respective support office challenges and opportunities.
Provide expertise, mentorship and training as required in marketing and resource generation; lead collaborative learning, best practice management and adoption, regional discipline and alignment, along with emerging innovation opportunities to increase value for Child Sponsorship within:
Consumer insights & segmentation
Attraction marketing strategy
Acquisition & multi-channel engagement strategy
Retention & cultivation marketing strategy
Review regional support office Child Sponsorship fundraising business models, and as required help smaller offices develop more sustainable and compelling business cases including market sizing and assessments, competitive environment and marketing strategy to help make strategic growth choices.
Lead and regionally represent global projects to Asian support offices, toward achievement of global strategic goals - for example, FY17/8 projects as follows:
Strengthening Child Sponsorship Marketing Offer - acquiring regional research and insights, managing situational analysis and eventuating local market testing.
Demand Generation, Content Marketing, Power Claims, Channel Optimisation & Development, Church Engagement - ensuring awareness and application of learnings and best practices from other support office led projects.
As a member of the global leadership team in Child Sponsorship Marketing & Engagement and as part of the Global Resource Development department, contribute to wider objectives around child sponsorship, marketing and fundraising best practices:
Effectively represent our new global brand framework as a regional brand ambassador.
Partner closely with the Digital Marketing & Technology Capability team to ensure digital transformation and customer experiences are foundational to the regional change agenda.
Tag-team with other Private Funding regional advisor roles to share knowledge, insights and minimize duplication and ease of support office engagement/influence.
Support the advance of common global resource development goals.
Knowledge skills & Abilities:
Required:
7-10 years in marketing, fundraising or related role, including 2 years at a leadership level with demonstrable success in achieving growth.
Exceptional ability to lead change through relationship and influence, across diverse teams and cultures.
Exceptional intellectual
ability - a clear strategic marketing thinker.
Significant experience in leading change in a complex environment.
Ideally, minimum 2 years of experience leading a marketing function within one of the largest World Vision Support offices and / or minimum 4 years of experience leading a marketing function within a global, federated organization.
Master’s degree or equivalent in strategy or marketing.
The post-holder must have an active Christian faith.

World Vision International Health and Nutrition Advisor Vacancies in Tanzania
Purpose of the position:
Under the supervision of the Business Development and Quality Assurance Director, the Health and Nutrition Technical Advisor will contribute towards the attainment of WVT fundraising goal and objectives through coordinating Health, Nutrition and HIV/AIDS grant fundraising efforts. Additionally, the Health and Nutrition Technical Advisor will coordinate engage and network with internal and external stakeholders to position WVT grant acquisition. Incumbent will consulate the Senior Grants Compliance Officer, to ensure grants under their respective portfolio are complaint to donors and the Government of Tanzania policies and requirements.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
Grants acquisition/fundraising
Implement WVT’s GAM Fundraising Strategy.
Develop, implement and update regularly grant acquisition plan for Health, Nutrition and HIV/AIDS.
Undertake regular donor scoping, landscape assessment and forecasts for Health, Nutrition and HIV/AIDS, including RFA/tender analysis.
Ensure adherence to WVT’s GAM and Partnership’s practices and policies in pursuing grants.
Qualifications: Education/Knowledge/Technical Skills and Experience
The following may be acquired through a combination of formal or self-education, prior experience or on-the-job training:
Minimum Qualification required:
Master’s Degree in Medicine or other Health Sciences with 10 years practical experience in Public health including Nutrition and HIV/AIDS with a reputable organization
Experience:At least 5 years’ experience in program planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of Health, Nutrition and HIV&AIDS programs
