Job Description

World Together Ethiopia is an international NGO operating in Ethiopia with the vision of helping and supporting the poorest segment of the population.

The organization is currently seeking to employ well experienced and qualified applicant for the following position:

Main Duties and Responsibilities

Plan and organize the project activities in line with the project proposal

Lead, Manage and direct the operation of LG TVET Project

Ensure that the budget allocated for each activity is timely and properly used for the intended purpose

In collaboration with the LG TVET College Management as well as with the management of World Together country office, set key indicators of performance and work towards the achievement of project objectives.

In collaboration with the College, identify potential companies, industries, higher education institutions, government offices, etc for creating collaborative work through common mutual agreements and understandings.

Ensure that fixed and non-fixed assets of the project are properly registered, tagged and kept accessible for end users of the College.

Develop a system of data capturing, storing and communication for the project

Represent World Together Country office on behalf of LG TVET

Project as required on different events.

Prepare regular weekly and monthly reports to the organization as well as quarterly and yearly reports to government offices.

Prepare project proposals as required, amend the existing ones as needed by the organization

Facilitate for regular auditing of the accounts of the project, plan for intermittent and final term evaluation of the project as required, facilitate for trainee, trainer, parent and other stakeholder joint meetings about the operation and performance of the College.

Handle all other related activities as assigned by the organization

Place of Work:

LG-KOICA Hope TVET College, Bole Sub-city, Woreda 10, inside Summit Condominium, Addis Ababa
The Project Coordinator will also give services at:

World Together Main Office located near to Urael Church, Addis Ababa
Term of Employment: contractual, renewable yearly based on satisfactory performance.

Job Requirements

Work Experience

6 years and above

Education

BA/ BED/MA/MED in Project Management/ Educational leadership and Management/ Development studies/ International education/ Social sciences or related fields of study
