Job Description
We are seeking an effective, dedicated Deputy Manager to support our textile manufacturing company which is located in Modjo.
You will assist with the planning, development, implementation and overseeing company, projects planning, coordination, development and administration or programs and projects.
Assistant in setting schedules to developing solutions for problems that arise during operations. Oversee a company’s operations, have budgeting responsibilities and are involved in hiring and evaluating company personnel.
Help with hiring and training, and should be able to handle the day-to-day tasks by also overseeing the smooth running of the organization which include offering leadership and guidance.
Core responsibilities include:
Supporting the Manager/CEO/
Deliver office-based support duties to the Manager
Core management support duties include:
Allocate daily/weekly/monthly tasks and follow-ups
Lead relevant meetings in the absence of the Manager, following up on all actions
Additional management support duties may be extended to include:
Deliver supervision for assigned team members
Induction of new team members
Day-to-day planning with overseeing tasks
Standard budgetary admin tasks
Primary Responsibilities:
Oversee the day-to-day operations: negotiating contracts with vendors or prospective employees, assigning tasks, leading meetings and implementing.
Analyze and implement policies and procedures,
oversee short- and long-term business plans
Initiatives and help in budgeting activities.
Motivate personnel to meet company goals.
Track key projects, present reports to, CEO or other executives and, depending on the company, ensure that a company follows relevant regulations and guidelines.
Track the progress of weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual objectives
Evaluate employee performance and identify hiring and training needs
Suggest sales training programs and techniques
Communicate with clients and evaluate their needs
Analyze consumer behavior and adjust product positioning
Handle complaints from customers
Optimizing
profits by controlling costs.
Hiring, training and developing new employees.
Resolving customer issues to their overall satisfaction.
Maintaining an overall management style that follows company best practices.
Providing leadership and direction to all employees.
Ensuring product quality and availability.
Preparing and presenting employee reviews.
Handle administrative duties, and perform human resource tasks, such as recruiting and assessing staff performance.

Education and Experience
Proficient user of MS Office (MS Excel in particular)
Leadership and organizational abilities
Interpersonal and communication skills
Problem-solving attitude
BSc/BA in Business Administration or relevant field; MSc/MA is a plus
Must be self-motivated and possess the desire for self-development.
Have the ability to work autonomously when required.
