Job DescriptionThe Commerce Department at Whiz Kids Workshop is in the business of promoting the mission and vision of Whiz Kids workshop by developing, implementing, executing and ensuring strategic commercial plans, overseeing the company’s marketing budget, and developing commercial strategy for the company in line with the company objectives in order to attract potential customers and retain existing ones.
Position Summary
The Product Sales Associate will be responsible to develop and ensure a smooth sales process by presenting, promoting and selling products/services of WKW using solid arguments to existing and prospective customers and work to find new sales leads, through business directories, client referrals and other approaches.
Also, compile sales reports and resolving customer Complaints.
Under the supervision of the Marketing and Sales Lead, s/he will also help in campaigns, events, database management.
Job Description
Major duties and responsibilities of the Product Sales Associate include:
Product Knowledge and Customer Service
Welcoming customers in a friendly and polite manner.
Demonstrate WKW value and brand guideline in a daily basis.
Perfectly understand the product they are selling and be able to explain in
Staying knowledgeable about our range of product/services
Explaining to customers the best products for their needs
Recommending related products/services to increase customers' options and enrich their buying experience
Accepting and processing orders
Promoting special sales, offers and awareness of deals
Coordinate sales effort with team members and other departments
Sales collateral and stock management
Promote marketing and sale of all WKW stock (off site at events, and internally for customers and clients)
Update WKW website with all relevant merchandise and promotional material with the commerce team
Advertising
Liaise with advertising agencies and directly with publications, both online and off-line.
Assist in coordinating various marketing and sales methods including, direct mail, print ads, networking, internet, and propose new methods of sales.
Reporting/Meetings
Ensure all weekly, monthly, quarterly and bi-annual sales reports are compiled and documented
Prepare reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for the products and services
Job Requirements
Experience
A Bachelor’s Degree in one of the following: Marketing Management, Advertising, Communications or Public relations 0 year experience,
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Strong orientation towards providing excellent customer service
Maintain a positive attitude and focus on customer satisfaction in a fast-paced environment.
The ability to read, write, and perform basic math.
The ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
Demonstrated selling skills
Ability to maintain a professional appearance
A resourceful and creative thinker with the ability to work independently and as team player
Computer proficiency in
MS Office (excel, word, power point)
A “people person” who is energized by connecting with people.
Rigorous, strong organizational and time management skills
