Whave Solutions Administration Officer Jobs in Uganda

The Administration Officer will be based in the Whave Kampala office. The post holder will have responsibility to work with the administration staff, and will report to the Senior Administration Officer and Managing Director.

Responsibilities;

Preparing and payment of invoices

Ensuring compliance with national legislation including National Social Security Fund (NSSF), Uganda Revenue Authority (URA), Immigration and maintenance of company insurances

Research, prepare and supply information on general company issues or project specific issues as required

Track budgets, expenditure, and provide financial reports under specific funder format

Management of company bank accounts and petty cash including preparing monthly and yearly accounts to be audited

Conduct future financial analysis and advise on budgeting

Assist in arranging and facilitating meetings, training , workshops and other events

Office filing and procurement & Oversight of office supplies

Travels to the field offices in for meetings, accountabilities

Other duties as required

Requirements

Degree in Accounting, Business Admin or other accounting related courses. CPA & ACCA are added advantages.

At least two years’ experience working with a non-governmental organisation or private business

Clear understanding and experience in Quickbooks

Excellent Knowledge of Microsoft office packages

High level of integrity, honesty and professionalism

High level of communication and interpersonal skills
