Job Purpose
  • The Department of Infrastructure, Western Cape Government has an opportunity for a suitably qualified and competent individual to ensure good order, control and coordination in work perfomance and productivity of all the electronic registry practises and disposal program of the department. Perform records management audits of the department. This post is stationed in Cape Town, CBD.

    Minimum Requirements
  • An appropriate 3-year National Diploma/B-Degree (equivalent or higher qualification);
  • A minimum of 3 years supervisory level experience in Records Management.

    Competencies
    Knowledge of the following:
  • Relevant Legislation, policies, prescripts, and procedures;
  • Integrated electronic document and records management systems;
  • Retention guidelines and information management technology applications for records retention;
  • Records management and customer care; Skills needed:
  • Written and verbal communication;
  • Report writing;
  • Supervisory skills.
