We are keen to bolster our ranks with a creative and enthusiastic Social Media Manager to join us and work on a great mix of B2B and B2C Technology and Consumer clients.
Our South Africa office is one of 24 across the globe, and it’s expanding rapidly. We work across time zones and continents. Our clients are innovative and so is our work – and importantly, our employees come first.
We are currently looking for a first-class Social Media expert to become an integral part of our content team and help us drive to drive full-integration across all our disciplines – Technology, Consumer and Digital.

Responsibilities Developing engaging social media content, both written and visual, for technology, social-good and consumer clients
Constantly proposing new ideas and concepts for social media content
Managing communities across several different platforms
Developing social and content strategies for clients with wider client teams
Supporting the execution
of campaigns from conception to launch following deadlines and project plans
Maintaining and updating knowledge on the general social media landscape and in the context of specific clients
Working on WE SA’s social media marketing and channels
Qualifications
Typically, at least 2-3 years’ experience in Social Media/Content/Digital, preferably in an agency setting or within applicable industry
Bachelor’s degree or advanced degree in English, Journalism, Marketing, Communications or applicable field is required
Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
Strong content creation skills – visual and written social media content, blog posts, etc.
In-depth knowledge of all social media channels
Strong analytical skills and a good understanding of social media reporting
Good understanding of the wider digital industry
Ability to build strong team relationships
