Experience Required

8 years related experience in project management methodologies is highly desired

Experience in NEC and FIDIC Contracts a plus

Good Computer literacy: Ms Projects, MS Excel and Syspro.

Strong engineering background and proven commercial capabilities

Ability to cope with deadlines, manage time, set priorities, define roles and responsibilities and make decisions.

Ability to schedule, plan and manage numerous complex projects concurrently.

Good Administrative and communication skills

Individual leadership abilities, planning skills and customer focus

Education Requirements

Bachelor Degree in Engineering and/or a Commercial Degree

Project Management will be an added advantage.

Responsibilities

Receive customer order from Tendering Department.

Review the customer order for technical and administrative requirements and execute plans to establish APT’s responsibilities.

Prepare works orders and issue to ensure that plans adhere to contract specification.

Interface closely with the projects team and ensure clear understanding of the expectations as outlined in the project contracts.

Ensure necessary support is obtained from production department and other support areas to meet customer deliveries.

Serve as main point of contact for the customer

Update Senior Management on order progression and highlight any major concerns or risks, issues or opportunities as they arise.
