Role:

Business partner to Market Operations, Sourcing and Sales teams on expense control, reporting, and analysis. Lead role for Sales, and Gross Margin- reporting and analysing, providing key analysis into the profitability of products and operations.

Duties and Responsibilities

Support to the Manager, FP&A for the budgeting/forecasting process, month-end closing and variance analysis, cash flow modelling and various ad hoc projects

Develop models to improve the efficiency and accuracy of expense forecasting

Evaluate the company’s performance using key data

Support operational improvements with financial analytics

Participate in month-end close process including variance analysis of expenses and gross margin reconciliation

Provide decision making support to drive business performance improvement

Identify Risks and Opportunities within the business and provide Actionable analysis

Principal Outputs for the Role

Timely and accurate reports for the business.

Accurate and up to date financial information for the business

Sound financial advice to the business unit heads

Qualifications- Academic and Professional

Bachelor’s Degree in science/economics/accounting/statistics or related fields

Certified Accountant – CPA(K) or ACCA would be a plus but not mandatory

Experience

2 – 3 years’ experience in finance/analytics/accounting with at least 1 years as a Business analyst/Cost Accountant/Financial Analyst

1-2 years of experience in financial planning, analysis, and modelling

Proficient in Excel, Power Point and Other MS applications

Retail/Wholesale/FMCG experience
