Role Overview

The role holder will be expected to provide HR Business partnering, safeguarding, duty of care and resourcing support services to the project. Implement HR policies, systems, processes, and tools to enable a diverse and inclusive project team to deliver the project successfully in alignment with VSO’s volunteering for development (VfD) approach. Ensure compliance to VSO policies, quality assurance standards, donor requirements and local legislation.

Skills, Qualifications and Experience

We are looking for a HR professional with relevant qualification in Human Resources and/or Organizational Development and with good understanding of local HR legislation.

Experience of providing HR services to a large multi-cultural project team with familiarity of donor requirements and reporting on people and safeguarding issues.

The ideal candidate should have experience in managing complaints, duty of care, safeguarding incidents to the highest international standards including conducting investigations and disciplinary management.

You will be required to support managers in planning and delivery of learning and development for their teams.
