Vodafone Global Enterprise Principle Specialist: Marketing Jobs in South Africa

Role purpose:

Develop the new TowerCo Brand and corporate identity with ongoing marketing, events, and PR.

Your responsibilities will include:

Initially develop and launch the new TowerCo brand and corporate identity.

Develop and execute a marketing strategy that aligns with TowerCo's business goals.

Execute the ToweCo print/digital advertising as well as a social media strategy.

Arrange corporate events.

Proactively and reactively engage the media to ensure TowerCo’s brand and image are maintained at a high level.

Acquire research and source data from the market to analyze and provide feedback to executives based on competitive and customer trends.

Provide ongoing and accurate competitive intelligence and analysis of the tower market in Africa and more broadly worldwide.

Proactively engage the business, customers, and the market as a whole to identify and present innovative commercial ideas to the TowerCo Executive.

Ideally you should possess the following:

Matric/Grade 12 is essential.

Relevant 3-year Marketing Degree/diploma.

Relevant 8 years + experience.

Strong communication skills – ability to engage and

present at C level.

Problem-solving skills, able to navigate through difficult negotiations, including business and financial acumen.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to distill complex technical concepts into simple terms, with strong persuasion skills to gain support for principles, standards, and change.

Excellent relationship-building, teamwork, and collaboration skills that enable the provision of effective support and guidance across programs.

Proven track record on key outputs/disciplines.

Strong business acumen.
