Vodafone Global Enterprise Executive Head: Huawei Cloud Solutions & Services Jobs in South Africa



Role purpose:

The Executive has business development goals including both new sales and cross-selling additional services to prospective and existing clients. The Executive head in the Cloud Solutions Team is the liaison with clients and the cloud service team and is responsible for the management of multiple programs simultaneously including scheduling, staffing, and coordinating required activities with clients and internal resources.

As a leader of engagement teams, the Executive develops internal methodology, plus training, mentoring, and guidance to staff to enable the completion of assigned tasks. Key to the executive is working with product development to create the strategy, execution plan and portfolio go-to market (GTM) partnering with cross-functional and industry vertical teams.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Manage Business Development Managers, Solution Architects, and Service delivery engineers

  • Assist the Sales and Pre-Sales teams with customer engagements

  • Develop Partner channels and gain Market Share through Partner sales.

  • Research and select high-priority customer engagements.

  • Develop and Manage account plans for strategic customers.

  • Lead competitive learning by market research, evaluating competitor products, programs, weaknesses, strengths and strategies and then educating key internal stakeholders to develop competitive solutions.

    The ideal candidate for this role will have:

  • Must have technical/professional qualifications:

  • A degree or Diploma in engineering or IT (NQF level 7), MBA or business qualifications/MDP is advantageous. Recommended additional qualifications: Management Qualification Diploma/Degree

  • 8 – 10 years’ experience in the Solution Management
    Space and Huawei Certification

  • 10 -13 Years of Management experience in an ICT professional services organisation.

  • 5 – 10 years’ experience in product development.

  • Go to market planning and execution.

  • Experience in responding to Cloud Services and Hosting Tenders

  • Experienced in presenting Enterprise Solutions and offerings to Customers

  • Experienced in presenting and closing sales deals with customers at C level.

  • Account Management with Customers

    Core competencies, knowledge and experience:

  • Experience in Huawei Cloud, hosting, solution sales, managed services and marketing and commercial operations.

  • Extensive and Strong business acumen with a deep strategic perspective and ability to quickly understand global business strategy

  • Broad understanding of global customer needs; business cases and how customer use our technology

  • Excellent CXO Customer facing presentation and influencing skills

  • Detailed knowledge of Huawei Cloud Agreements, Licensing and Cloud Products and Solutions
