Vipingo Ridge Housekeeping Executive Jobs in Kenya

As a Housekeeping Executive, you will supervise the work of room attendants, pool attendants laundry and public area attendants, ensuring high standards are met. This includes developing and implementing procedures to improve efficiency, monitoring housekeeping procedures, and conducting regular spot checks. You will also be responsible for preparing duty rosters, conducting training, and maintaining records.

Requirements:

Diploma/Degree or a holder of a certificate in Housekeeping and Laundry having undergone full time training from a recognized hotel training institution.

Fluency in English (verbal and written) essential

Good problem-solving skills and ability to develop conceptual alternatives

A well-defined sense of diplomacy, including solid negotiation, conflict resolution, and people management skills.

Strong negotiation skills and understanding of vendor relations including quotation and ordering processes.

Proven supervisory skills

Strong morals and ethics, along with a commitment to staff privacy.
