Behaving in a professional and harmonious manner and following the Kempinski code of conduct.
Receiving all goods and checking each item for accuracy in specifications and price, as well as corresponding purchase orders.
Ensuring that food goods received are properly handled and all hygiene standards are followed.
Stamping, dating and signing off on all goods received.
Entering Invoices for delivered goods into the system.
Checking the temperature and transport conditions of vendors trucks.
Creating daily receiving report.
Communicating any issues or delays with ordered goods with the corresponding departments.
Ensuring that the loading dock is organized and clean at all times.
Assisting the purchasing staff during inventories.
Performing any additional duties assigned by Management and assisting in other areas of Purchasing as needed.
Communicating with supervisor on any discrepancies or other potential problems.
Qualifications
Degree/Diploma in Finance/ Accounting/Purchasing/Supply Chain.
2-3 years in receiving goods and general accounting experience
Experience in accounting software is a plus
Knowledge of the generally accepted accounting principles and local regulations
Proficiency in Excel and Word
Experience in a similar role and proven track record may be considered in lieu of specialized education
Ability to handle high volume with attention to detail
An ability to establish and retain effective working relationships with hotel staff and clients/vendors
Applies a professional, confidential and ethical approach at all times
