Responsibilities

  • Prepare kitchen equipment for use.
    Assemble and prepare ingredients for menu items.
  • Awareness of OH&S policies and procedures is demonstrated and it is ensured that all procedures are conducted safely and within OH&S guidelines.
  • Prepare simple food items.
  • Prepare food for service.
  • Assist with checking, receiving and storing of goods.
  • Maintain storage areas.
  • Clean kitchen and equipment.
  • Handle waste and linen.
  • Maintain a hygienic kitchen and high standards of personal hygiene.
  • Attend all briefings.
  • Participate in training.

    Qualifications:

  • Basic Certification in Food and Beverage Production Operations.
  • Previous experience within a luxury 5 star establishment
  • Ability to work as part of a team, thrive under pressure in challenging circumstances and come up with proactive, rational solutions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent grooming skills and must be well versed in professional and personal etiquette
  • Ability to establish and retain effective working relationships with hotel staff and clients.
  • Experience in a Kitchen role.

  • Proficiency in Excel and Word is beneficial

    Responsibilities

  • Carry out preventive maintenance as scheduled, inspections, repair works and installation
  • Ensure effective and efficient operation of HVAC
  • Implementation of power saving measures
  • Ensure safety of equipment and environment
  • Ensure effective operation of VRVs, A.H.U, Cold rooms, Refrigerators, F.C.U etc under the section
  • Ensure that all machines in operation conform to safety regulations as per Factories Act
  • Repair and / or adjust all types of electrical and HVAC equipment and cosmetic items
  • Ensure quality workmanship is observed
  • Devise ways to conserve energy and report any ideas to the Engineering Management
  • Emergencies - be available for any emergencies and act in an engineering capacity to protect our guest and employees, and preserve the building and its systems during the emergency. To act as quickly and responsibly as possible to return the building to its normal operating status
  • Optimize maintenance costs
  • Accident prevention and safety
    Train and instruct other members of the staff
  • Comply with all Kempinski company policies

    Qualifications:

  • High School or secondary diploma required
  • Diploma in AC and Refrigeration
  • 1-2 Years experience in the operation and maintenance of HVAC systems in buildings and facilities.
  • Experience with repair and maintenance of cold rooms, freezers and VRV's
  • Experience in operation of BMS
  • Ability to work and communicate in a multinational environment
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Computer literacy

    Responsibilities

  • Perform spa treatments to a high standard
    The Therapist will ensure that the handover is completed in the guest journey as per the outlined standard, follow up on the treatment experience, expectations and satisfaction, and act on any discrepancies
  • Ensure delivery of special, individual and unique services to all guests in the Spa and Fitness Centre
  • To ensure the highest level of comfort and service, and create a genuine, warm and welcoming environment
    for our guests
  • Be well informed on the retail products and their benefits, confident in dealing with guests’ requests and queries
  • Knowledgeable about retail products related to specific menu treatments and able to make recommendations thereafter
  • Provide proper documentation to the Spa Manager, to ensure that commissions are generated properly and retail sales are accurately tracked
  • Maintain hygiene and cleanliness of treatment rooms
  • Manage levels of professional stock and supplies
  • Refer and abide by the spas standard operational procedures, policies and form manuals
  • Comply with all Kempinski company policies

    Qualifications

  • High School or secondary diploma required
  • Massage certificate
  • Beauty therapy certificate
  • Aromatherapy certificate
  • First Aid and CPR certificate (an advantage)
  • Previous experience in a 5 star/luxury hotel is required
  • Knowledge of herbal therapy, body treatments and facials
  • Knowledge in operating Spa machines and equipments
  • One (2) years’ spa therapy experience in an international standard spa

    Responsibilities

  • Process guest registrations, including the computation and collection of payment.
  • Perform nightly balancing of all services to ensure proper posting to property management system. Perform nightly backup of server.
  • Prepare express checkout folios.
  • Maintain room status inventory.
  • Communicate all pertinent shift information to (Night Manager) Front Office Manager and other desk staff.
  • Send and receive telephone calls and facsimiles; sort incoming mail and messages.
  • Maintain knowledge of key competitors’ products.
  • Ensure effective communication and working relationship with the operations team and other departments for success and to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Ensure paperwork to guests and other divisions is processed in a timely manner.
  • Process all financial transactions, including the verification and processing of credit card transactions in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Deliver any financial reports as required.
  • Ensure timely compilation Front Office reports.
  • Generate, print and distribute daily and weekly reports.
  • Complete and verify all audit paperwork and shift reports.
  • Provide guest assistance whilst ensuring compliance with all front office policies, procedures, standards and satisfaction of guests’ needs.
  • Participate in training programs as required.
  • Support the training and development initiatives of HR or other departments
  • Keep abreast of all emergency procedures, hotel promotions, product knowledge, VIP arrivals, upcoming events and briefs direct subordinates accordingly so that all Front Office team members are able to answer guest requests and questions.

    Qualifications

  • Hospitality Management Degree or equivalent in any related field such as Administration or Tourism Management
  • 3 years’ experience in a Front Office reception level position
  • Previous experience with cashiering preferably in a five-star international hotel
  • Comprehensive Opera knowledge
  • Comprehensive Micros knowledge
  • Up Selling techniques
  • Microsoft Excel and Statistical knowledge
