Job purposeTo Maintain, service and onsite overhaul diesel generators like Cummins KTAA19 –G10;
To fine tune generator combustion and operation;
To track generator diesel consumption and KWH production;
To service other utility equipments.
Duties and responsibilities
Execution of daily, Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly, Six month, Yearly Preventive Maintenance of Cummins & Perkin generators;
Trouble Shooting and Repairs of Cummins & Perkin Generators;
Trouble Shooting and Repairs of utility equipment like Air compressor, Chillers, solar panel ,Generators and Cold rooms;
Attend break downs of production machines and utility machines;
Daily breakdown tracing and report generation;
Handling of multi scale tasks involving electrical, electronic and mechanical operation;
Direct and train workers in generators service and maintenance;
Responsible for ensuring minimum spare part usage;
Responsible for audit compliance & audit work using QEOHS, IMS- ISO 9001 , 14001, 1800;
Ensure complete compliance to prescribed GMP, within the plant;
Perform other utility maintenance and repair duties as they arise.
Qualifications and work experience
Holder of a Diploma in Electrical/Electronic/Mechanical or Technical course from a respected institution;
Minimum 5-10 years Electrical, Electronic/Mechanical experience in CUMMINS generators as a Service Engineer;
Sound Knowledge of Cummins & Perkin Generators in Mechanical & electrical side;
Electrical system & generator software knowledge will be an added advantage

Working conditions
The role involves 12 Hrs Duty and working over weekends and public holidays when required
Physical requirements
The job is physically demanding
and hands on and the job holder may be required to stand for extended periods of time.
The role involves lifting heavy objects on a regular basis and performance of repetitive tasks with few breaks.
Attractive monthly salary in USD Tax Free
Power and water bills will be paid by company
The company will provide 3 meals days.
Accommodation: The job holder will be provided with onsite accommodation by the company.
Company will provide 2 air tickets in year to your home country;
Company will give 26 days Working days paid leave in year.
