US Embassy Residential Escort Jobs in Nairobi - Kenya

Duties

Incumbent is assigned to the Facility Management Office to monitor and provide security escort to non-cleared workers/vendors/visitors on an as-needed basis in designated areas as defined by the Security Office. Observes workers and contractors during the course of their work/duties to ensure that proper work is performed in accordance with security standards and to report suspected instances of violations to RSO. Monitors contractor’s workers’ adherence to construction safety requirements and report noted violations to the point of contact (POC)/Contracting Officer representative (COR) and Assistant Post Occupational Safety and Health Officer (APOSHO) in accordance to the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). Incumbent works under the direct supervision and guidance of the Maintenance supervisor.

Planning is limited to the assigned task and schedule availability. Must communicate with POC in the area work regarding activities to take place to ensure compatibility for job performance.

Qualifications and Evaluations
Requirements:

1-year general work experience.

Basic computer literacy of common Windows applications to include the Microsoft Office suite.

Completion of secondary school is required.

Qualifications:
All applicants under consideration will be required to pass medical and security certifications.
