US Embassy Administrative Clerk - Help Desk Assistant Jobs in Nairobi Kenya

Introduction

The U.S. Mission in Nairobi is seeking eligible and qualified applicants for the position of Administrative Clerk (ISC).

Minimum Requirements

Three years of previous experience in administration is required.

Experience in Microsoft products and related applications is required.

Experience in customer support is also required.

Job Knowledge:

Good working knowledge of office routines and understanding of basic clerical procedures.

Knowledge of computer equipment, basic operation troubleshooting.

Knowledge of mobile computing devices, and multimedia systems.

Education Requirements:

Completion of Secondary School is required

Two years of college studies in business administration is also required.

Applications without high school and college certificates will not be considered.

Language:

Level IV English (fluency, reading/speaking/writing) and Level III Kiswahili (speaking/reading/writing) are required. (This may be tested).

Skills and Abilities:

Knowledge of Microsoft Office products is required.

Excellent customer service skills.

Must have the ability to comprehend basic technical instructions.

The ability to work with minimal Supervision is essential.
