The Upper Hill Medical Centre was established in 2001 with the vision of bringing together all medical specialities under one roof. It has since attained the status of a world class health care service provider with 58 medical specialists who treat more than 2,000 patients each day. We have in one locale, several medical specialists in 25 different specialities.


They collaborate to create the best possible health care solutions for their patients. Every one of our specialists has admitting rights in at least one major hospital which allows them to admit patients when necessary. Our corporate clients include local and international insurance companies, and Governmental and Non Governmental Organisations.

Our department of day care surgery which is known as The Ambulatory Surgical Services Centre has 4 modern operating theatres. They are well designed and managed to high level of preparedness that many hospitals use as their bench mark. Procedures often performed include; endoscopy, dental, ENT, hysteroscopy, general surgery, gynaecology, In Vitro Fertilization (IVF), laparoscopy, ophthalmology, orthopaedic, plastic & cosmetic, urology, and vascular surgery.

We invite applications from seasoned nurse practitioners for the position of Theatre-in-Charge TIC (designate) who will succeed our long serving In-Charge. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for the quality of services provided by nurses, technicians and allied staff, and oversee their performance to ensure that the best professional

standards which underpin excellent outcomes for patients are applied in the department.

You will also partner with members of our senior management team in undertaking set goals and objectives, and maintain excellent relations with all stakeholders.
To be considered for this post will be a KRN / KRM or KRHCN registered perioperative nurse with demonstrable perioperative and managerial experience exceeding 10 years. Preference will be given to applicants with a degree in nursing and qualification in management.

Remuneration

This is a full time and permanent role and compensation will include; a basic salary, medical insurance, accident and life assurance, pension contribution, and paid CPD training.
