Job Opportunities

The ACTION Trial Project is a WHO Multi Country Trial to be conducted for a period of two (2) years in various hospitals in Kenya.

Qualifications

Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education or its equivalent with a pass in English

The applicant must have a diploma in Kenya Registered Nurse Midwife or Kenya Registered Community Health Nurse or a degree in Bachelor of Science, Nursing

Experience

At least 1 year working experience post qualification in a busy maternity unit
Applicants with training and experience in research and IT will have added advantage
Among other duties the applicant will be required to:

Work closely with the ACTION Investigators, Study Coordinator and the Data Manager

Work closely with the staff of labour ward to:

Recruit and randomize study participants
Collect data

Maintain registers of randomized clients
