Main Responsibilities
The main role of the System Administrator is to assist company clients to build, maintain, and troubleshoot infrastructure and enterprise systems.
As such, s/he is required to:
Provide support to our clients
Ensure that all support requests are handled effectively
Ensure that all clients’ systems are operating optimally
Monitoring servers, network devices and taking backups
Troubleshooting of basic system (hardware/software) and network related issues
Setup and configure new network devices
Install, maintain and support data security system
Troubleshooting of issues with VPN and Internet access
Escalating IT issues to our company where necessary
Job Requirements
Essential Skills/abilities
Possess 2 years of experience in basic System & Network administration
Have good knowledge of Windows Server, Microsoft SQL Server & skill in writing SQL query
Have good knowledge of coding in one or more of: ASP.NET, C#, PHP
Knowledge of networking concepts and TCP/IP
Should be a Quick leaner and have positive attitude
Very Good Spoken Communication skills
Good Written & Organizational skills
Should be able to multitask
Desirable Skills/abilities
Certifications: (Not required) but certifications like MCP, CCNA are a plus
Experience of ERP systems: (Not required) but working knowledge has a plus
Be customer service oriented
Have team spirit
