University Research Co., LLC Knowledge Management & Communication Specialist Jobs in Uganda

Job Purpose:

The Knowledge Management and Communication Specialist focuses on Project knowledge management, learning, and project documentation.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Identify, document and disseminate project activities and achievements. Promote project successes and lessons learned utilizing a variety of communication channels.

• Work with project research and M&E and Learning teams, technical teams and partners, Government (Ministry of Health and district Local Governments), communities and project beneficiaries to identify and document and disseminate best practices, success stories, and lessons learned.

Minimum Qualificaions:

• A basic degree qualification in communication or related field; and a master’s degree in public health or other relevant field

• Minimum 5 years of work experience, at least 2 years of experience in knowledge management activities for international development projects; preferably in the health sector; experience with USAID-funded projects is of an advantage

• Excellent writing and editing skills required

• Excellent interpersonal, teamwork, and organizational skills.
