University of Limpopo SCM Administrator and Committee Secretariat Jobs in South Africa

To perform all SCM divisional administrative duties; and those of the different Bid Committees as the Secretariat.

Requirements:

NQF Level 6 in Purchasing Management or Supply Chain Management.

Minimum 3 years’ experience in a Supply Chain management.

Experience at an institution of higher learning will be an added advantage.

Knowledge of purchasing principles and relevant legislation.

Knowledge of tender principles and relevant legislation.

Computer literacy: MS Office.

Key Performance Areas:

Secretariat to Bid Specification Committee.

Secretariat to Bid Evaluation Committee.

Divisional Administrative duties.

Assist in the compilation and distribution tender bulletin.

Record keeping for all tenders.

Competencies and skills:

Compilation of specifications and/or terms of reference

Compilation of bid document

Knowledge of an electronic procurement system.

Accuracy and attention to detail.

Integrity and reliability

Skill in both verbal and written communication

Skills in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships

Ability to work efficiently under pressure
