University of Limpopo Manager: Parking and Transport Services Jobs in South Africa

The incumbent will report to the Director: Facilities. S/he will manage a pool of vehicles and related fleet management administration. S/he will also develop and manage University wide parking masterplan and parking allocation system.

Requirements:

NQF level 8 qualification in Logistics or Transport Management.

At least 8 years’ experience in Transport management services.

3 out of the 8 years should have been at management level.

4 years’ experience of utilising a transport scheduling and management software.

Proven record of accomplishment of change management.

Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office package.

Expert level analysis and reporting skills.

Experience in developing and implementing strategies to decrease cost and improve efficiency.

Ability to work with high volume transport operations.

Understanding of basic motor vehicle mechanics, including the ability to identify when major repairs are needed.

Solid knowledge of all modes of transport regulations, and compliance standards.

Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects.

Exceptional organization, time management and multitasking abilities.
