University of Limpopo Buyer Acquisition Jobs in South Africa

To manage the process for the purchase of goods and service in compliance with the university’s Supply Chain Management policy.

Requirements:

NQF Level 7 in Purchasing Management or Logistics

Minimum 4 years solid experience in a Supply Chain management. Experience at an institution of higher learning will be an added advantage.

Solid knowledge of purchasing and tender practices and procedures.

Knowledge of an electronic procurement system.

Knowledge of purchasing principles and relevant legislation.

Knowledge of tender principles and relevant legislation.

Computer literacy: MS Office.

Key Performance Areas:

Administration of the procurement of goods and services.

Provide internal support to departments on the procurement of goods and services.

Identifies possible procurement risks by verifying and scrutinising submission of information by bidders.

Take ownership for own learning and growth.

Basic accounting knowledge.
