Clinical Instructor Grade 9/10 (1 Position)-UOK/AC/2/03/23

Qualifications

A Bachelors degree in Clinical Medicine from a recognized institution with two (2) years working experience as clinical officer at a recognized and busy hospital.

A Diploma or its equivalent in the relevant field will be an added advantage

Registration with clinical officers council of Kenya or an equivalent with a Valid practice license

Evidence of attendance and contributions at learned conferences and teaching experience may be an added advantage

Responsibilities

Maintenance of Inventory, Setting Up and Cleaning After Procedures, Appointments and Bookings of Lab

Maintenance of Discipline and Conduct of Students during The Lab Session,

Implement Preventive Maintenance, Cleanliness, Security & safety of lab equipment according to statutory

Work in manufacturing, pharmacy, Anatomy, histology gross anatomy

Prepare, post and distribute rota/ schedules for practicum/clinicals/skills lab demonstrations/hospital or facility

Liaise with the teaching hospital for clinical instruction and practical in inpatient/outpatient or any other medical/health set

Give technical assistance to students ,faculty and staff

Guide students during field work/educational trips/rural attachment/COBES/Community Diagnosis

Participate in implementing practical/clinical assessments

Performing any other duties as may be assigned by the supervisor
