University of Kabianga Administrative Assistants Jobs in Kenya



Requirements;

  • A Bachelors’ degree from a recognized University

  • Proficiency in computer applications packages

  • C3 (I) or post graduate diploma will be an added advantage

  • At three (3) years of service/ experience at University of Kabianga.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    Administrative Assistants shall work under the general guidance of more experienced administrators at Faculty, Schools, and Academic & Administrative Division of the University where he/she will be exposed to broad Administrative duties which includes but not limited to:

  • Organize for meetings (issue nBtice)

  • Preparing the agendas for meetings

  • Prepare documentation for meetings

  • Take accurate minutes in various committees

  • Maintain records

  • Supervision of secretaries and Clerk under them

  • Ensure maintenance of cleanliness and equipment in their offices

  • Ensure provision of furniture and other equipments

  • Ensure provision of meals for meetings

  • Prepare procurement plans

  • Compile reports

  • Provide technical advice fo the Chair of a meeting

  • Ensure functioning of clocking in/out registers,

  • Ensure functioning of complaints and complaints

  • Assist in the implementation of administrative functions of the division/ Department or school.

  • Any other relevant duties as may be assigned to them by the supervisor.
