Skills and QualificationsMUST have a completed National Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering
Sales related academic qualification will be an advantage.
Min. of 3-6 years hands on sales experience servicing the Mining sector
Must understand mining processes with sound technical experience
Must have knowledge of heat exchangers
Strong Customer focus & Competitor Analysis
Strong business acumen
Securing Quality to serve customers
Planning, Networking & Influencing
Valid Driving license + own vehicle is Essential
Duties and Responsibilities
Sales Ownership- Order Intake responsibility for the country/ cluster
Customer Ownership- Visit customers, Identify and Respond to their needs
Generate sales leads, assess customer requirement, contract negotiation and sales closure
Customer main focal point
Responsible for Account Receivable
Execute sales strategy across the country/ cluster (e.g. sales planning, sales funnel, order intake monthly expectations, customer visit reports, quote follow-up)
Identify new customers/ prospects/ suspects
Customer, Market and Competitor intelligence
Pricing strategy implementation across the country/ cluster
Project Sales leads and support
Close Cooperation with Regional Industry Managers and Product & Application teams
Responsible for quarterly sales forecasts on Order Intake for the country/ cluster
Corporate governance. Secure full compliance with Group and local Policies
Secure that all contractual commitments prior to finalisation are in accordance to group policies, review and approve in accordance to defined authorization procedures and routines.
