Minimum requirements for the role

Previous supervisory dispatch experience within a manufacturing or chemical or related environment is essential.

Diploma in Logistics or Warehouse
Management is preferred but not essential.

Must be able to drive a forklift.

Must have managerial skills and knowledge on Health and Safety.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

Overseeing the correct loading of trucks and verifying that stock meets quality requirements.

Ensuring the correct product batch numbers and expiry dates are on products.

Coordinating the daily schedule for stock loads.

Handling all dispatchments to the client base, including urgent deliveries.

Performing stringent quality checks to ensure packaging is not damaged prior to loading.

Recording returns for damaged or incorrect products.
