This is a Generic Vacancy Announcement (GVA) for the Talent Group for Education Officers at the NOB level in the Uganda Country Office.
Talent Groups at UNICEF are exclusive lists of pre-vetted, highly qualified professionals intended to fast-track recruitment processes as positions become available.
After a rigorous selection process, successful candidates will be placed in the NOB Education Officer Talent Group for a period of 36 months. While placement in the Talent Group does not guarantee a position, it is an important resource for filling vacancies.
Candidates placed into the Talent Group will be reviewed when a relevant position becomes available and if found suitable, are offered placements through a direct selection process.

How can you make a difference?
Under the supervision of the Chief, Education or Education Specialist, the Education Officer provides professional technical, operational and administrative assistance throughout the programming process for education programmes/projects within the Country Programme from development planning to delivery of results, preparing, executing, managing and implementing a variety of technical and administrative programme tasks to facilitate programme development, implementation, programme progress monitoring, evaluating and reporting.
