Undergraduate scholarships in theological studies
by Gideon
(Kampala Uganda)
I am currently a student at the Uganda Christian University undertaking A Bachelors Degree in Divinity with Ordination for three years. Currently in year two semester one.The course will end in May 2015.
I am currently having a partial scholarship that is paid by two different organizations that is the University and my Home Diocese. The university pays Tuition and the Diocese pays board fees.
The rest of the study expenses have been left to me as a student. These include; Laptop, Textbooks, Handouts or notes photocopying, Research fees, Transport,up keep,Transport to and from the University,Family up keep and any other related study costs until the course ends.
I male Ugandan Parent, married to one wife and God has given us seven Children, of which five are now in school; two in secondary and three in primary levels. And i am charged with the responsibility of providing all the basic needs at home.
To be sincere the task is really very hard in meeting the requirements for me at the University and for my family.
Kindly where can i getting funding to support me and my family while i am studying at my home University which is in Uganda for the remaining Three semesters and even to continue with further studies?because all the theological scholarship seen in the Newsletter do not cater to support continuing students in their home country.
