Job Description

We are looking for a proactive, positive, and fun person to join our Business Performance team. We want an adventurous and open-minded individual to help us guide our teams through their projects. We lead by serving on the Business Performance team which means finding the perfect balance between being friendly, helpful, and professional.

We are in charge of the work getting done, not in charge of the people doing the work. We highly value innovation, patience, and transparency.

Project Managers at Umba must know their projects. It is vital that they are able to communicate the status of their projects and reasonably estimate release schedules. Project managers need to keep their teams on task to deliver requirements with the best cross-section of accuracy, quality, and speed.

We must run interference with outside influences, including other teams or stakeholders, to make sure our teams are not interrupted or stalled. We work in collaboration with the Product teams and Upper Management to maintain the priorities of requests and requirements. Our teams rely on us.

Also as a member of the business performance team, a keen eye for data analysis is very important. The outcomes are as important as the projects themselves, and we measure everything to ensure this. Every team has tracking on their KPIs and our job is to ensure these stay on track.

Responsibilities

Collaborating with the Head of Business Performance on a daily basis

Maintain work tickets and project roadmaps within Clickup

Coordinate with Directly Responsible Individuals

Communicate with Stakeholders when necessary

Reporting any impediments or blockers

Improve the processes where improvable and document the changes

Develop and implement sales strategies and processes to drive sales efficiency and effectiveness.

Analyze sales data, generate reports, and provide insights to inform data-driven decision-making.

Manage sales technology stack, including CRM systems and sales enablement tools, to optimize performance.

Collaborate with

cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and support of sales objectives.

Design and administer sales compensation plans, incentive programs, and quota management to motivate the sales team.

Desired Experience & Style

3+ years of project management experience in a company such as marketing, finance, and product development, to ensure alignment and smooth cooperation across the organization.

Experience with Agile and Software Development Lifecycles

Experience in providing strategic guidance, process management, data analysis, and resources to help the sales team achieve their goals and drive revenue growth for the company.

Experience with Clickup, or a similarly full featured project management team

Data-driven but flexible and creative, bonus if you have SQL skills

Helped release at least 1 professional digital product that was publicly published

Ability to work on a team

Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Able to learn quickly and adapt to variant situations

Able to take criticism but courage to speak wisdom to superiors
