Uganda Olympic Committee Project Finance Officer Jobs

Uganda Olympic Committee (UOC) is a growing sports organization based in Kampala that offers its employees the excellent learning and working environment with great opportunities.

We are an agent of the International Olympic Committee (IOC) and Commonwealth Games Federation (CGF) in Uganda to up-hold and promote Olympic and Commonwealth ideals to its affiliates and stakeholders by providing support, guiding policy and delivering programmes through its organs and structures.

Responsibilities

Monitor budgets and expenditures and contribute to preparation of budget revision.

Preparing and submitting timely and reliable financial documents and financial reports

Prepare project financial reports, statements and submit to the Management for clearance Establish a computer-based monitoring system for expenditures.

Check and ensure that all procurement process and expenditures of the project are in accordance with the set procedures. This includes ensuring receipts to be obtained for all payments.

Check budget lines to ensure that all transactions are booked to the correct budget lines.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance
Background in accounting, procurement and finance

Worked in a project before

2-4 years experience

Sports background and knowledge (added advantage)
