Qualification and Person Specification

  • An Honors degree in Business Administration, Development studies, Social Sciences, Public Administration or its equivalent from a recognized institution.

  • Well-developed interpersonal, communication, leadership skills and capable of working with others, with ability to effectively coach and develop subordinates.

  • Officer of high caliber, dedication and integrity.

  • Capacity to meet tight deadlines with efficiency.

    Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage the Secretariat.

  • Personal Assistant to the Managing Director.

  • Advise on Human Resource Management matters and facilitate personnel in managing the welfare
    of staff in the Organization.

  • Managing in liaison with the finance Department the administration of the payroll stating control systems.

  • Coordinate recruitments and other appointments in conjunction with the relevant user departments
    and the appointing authority.

  • Preparing/processing submissions for appointment, confirmation, disciplinary, transfer and exit of staff.

  • Supervising the up-to-date safe custody and management of Human Resource and other relevant
    records.

  • Coordinating staff appraisals
