Minimum QualificationApplicants should be Ugandans in possession of an Honours Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering, or Physics, or Mathematics, or Geoscience, or Geothermal from a recognized University.
Duties
The incumbent will be responsible to the Senior Engineer (Reservoir) for performing the following duties:-
Executing reservoir engineering studies so as to evaluate geothermal potential;
Participating in geothermal exploration, research and development;
Participating in preparation of work plans, budgets and performance reports;
Drafting reservoir engineering reports and models for filing and publication;
Coordinating data acquisition and processing and maintaining reservoir database;
Participating in development of conceptual geothermal models that aid in selection of drilling targets;
Implementing health, safety and environmental work procedures;
Supervising, mentoring and appraising junior staff in the Section;
Any other duties as assigned from time to time

Candidates shortlisted for Oral Interviews shall be required to bring along with them certified copies of academic documents, their original certificates including the Degree Transcript and Certificates, a valid identify card.
Serving Officers already appointed in the Public Service shall not be considered for entry level posts under this GRE advert;
Applicants who shall not hear from the Public Service Commission on completion of the selection process should consider themselves unsuccessful.
