Job Summary: Description of the purpose of the job
To manage the Development, Implementation, Sustainability, Assurance and Continual Improvement of Business Management Systems towards realization of UEGCL’s Strategic Objectives

Key Responsibilities:

Brief description of duties or the responsibilities for the job

1. Overall coordination of activities pertaining desired Management Systems to ensure development, implementation, sustainability, Assurance and continual improvement.
2. Liaison with contracted Business Management Systems consultants / Auditors to ensure effective delivery of the contracted services.
3. Plan, generate and submit for approval Management Systems audit schedules covering all auditable aspects of the business in consideration of other business undertakings.
4. Coordinate Management Systems audits (Internal and External) to ensure their credibility.
5. Review and present to management a comprehensive Audit report covering the entire audit scope.
6. Report on the status of the development and application of the Management Systems periodically.
7. Ensure compliance at all times to prevailing applicable requirements (statutory, regulatory, ISO standard and UEGCL) for as committed to in the documented Management Systems.
8. Plan and coordinate capacity development programs geared towards functionality of the Business Management Systems.
9. Prepare the Quality Assurance Section budget for cost control and ensuring value for money
10. Manage the performance and development of staff in Quality Assurance Section in line with HR policies and Management and Board decisions.
11. Carry out any other duties as may be assignment from time to time

Education and Professional Requirements:
The minimum education level required to perform this job.

A graduate Degree and Postgraduate qualification in Engineering, Business Management, Economics, Statistics, Environment or related discipline.

Must be a Certified Quality Auditor in good standing

Other relevant professional certification and affiliation to the relevant professional bodies will be an added advantage


Related Job Experience/Qualification:
The Experience required to perform this job.

Four(4) years’ experience at senior level in Internal Auditing, quality management , Process management , Quality and Product certification management experience in a vibrant organization with strong professional skills and experience in Management Systems Development, Implementation, Sustainability and Continual Improvement

Proficient in Computer & IT competencies
